Back Again

Wow! It's been forever since I've been here and posted anything.

Our garden has done pretty good. We were able to put up quite a bit of squash and green beans. Our broccoli and spinach did not do well at all. And some critter has gotten our peaches, which was loaded. Now we are down to one tiny little thing. I'm sure that it will not be around too long before it is taken too. We have been getting quite a bit of our grape tomatoes too. And have been getting some regular tomatoes too.

I've also been busy knitting. I would like to be knitting some socks, but don't have the yarn right now. I've put in an order and can't wait until it gets here. :-)

I'm also gearing up for another year of our homeschooling. We will be starting on Aug. 3rd. For our Science we will be learning about the planets, sun, space, etc. The kids decorated their notebooks that they will be keeping their stuff in. They turned out pretty cute. For History we will be learning about Pioneer times. We will start off with Lewis and Clark. I still need to get the lessons together for that and we're starting in 1 1/2 weeks, so I better get busy on that.
