Where have I been???

Hi to all.

Seems like I've been MIA. In my spare time I've been knitting away at socks or looking at knitting patterns online. I'm in the process of learning a new way of knitting socks called the Magic Loop. At first it was quite frustrating, but now I'm getting the hang of it. I finished my first sock (for Sabree) using this method. I have started on the 2nd one. Sabree is so excited to have some socks I made for her. I'm going to make Jaxon some after I'm done with Sabree's. I just reread what I typed before about knitting socks. Wow, it really has been some time since I've been back to type on this blog. The sock that I was working on then was one for Tim. I have finished those and also made me a pair of socks too. I used the DPNS (double pointed needles) for both pairs. And I'm thinking about doing the toe up/magic loop method for Jaxon's socks, but not real sure on that or not. It sure goes faster when you know what you're doing.

As for our garden... we have planted some spinach and green beans so far. This next weekend we are planning to get all of the rest in. Last weekend I believe it was we had a freeze overnight. We went out and had to cover our peach trees and blueberry bushes. The peach trees are loaded with baby peaches and didn't want to lose them. We lost a few with covering them with out plastic. They look like they are doing good.

We've got about 6 weeks of school left, so we're getting excited about that. I'm already looking at next year though and getting some books.
